Mr. Eliot Shavin
Mr.Shavin is a co-founder and partner of Chandler and Shavin, PLLC. He is Board Certified in Consumer and Commercial Law. Mr.Shavin has also worked as a professor and supervising attorney at the SMU Civil Clinic for over 20 years. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Mr.Shavin worked in large law firms in Houston and Dallas. He then worked for the Texas Attorney General’s office before starting his own law firm. Mr.Shavin served as the president of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Texas. He was also a board member of the national ACLU, the Housing Crisis Center, and a council member and chair of the Consumer and Commercial Law and Individual Rights and Responsibilities sections of the State Bar of Texas. Mr.Shavin is currently a member of the Texas Employment Lawyers Association. He has been recognized on the Thomson Reuter’s list of Texas Super Lawyers and has earned a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating.
Ms. Corinna Chandler
Ms.Chandler is a trial and appellate lawyer experienced in employment law. She is a co-founder and partner of Chandler and Shavin, PLLC, a Dallas law firm that specializes in commercial, consumer, civil rights, and employment litigation. Ms.Chandler served as the president of the DFW National Employment Lawyers Association from 2017-2020, and is a life fellow of the Dallas Bar Association. She is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, the William ‘Mac’ Taylor American Inn of Court, the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), and the Texas Employment Lawyers Association (TELA). Ms.Chandler has a B.B.A in Financial Consulting from the Cox School of Business at the Southern Methodist University, M.B.A from the University of Texas Dallas, and graduated cum laude with her J.D. from Dedman School of Law at SMU. She has been recognized on the list of Texas Super Lawyers from 2019-2020 and was on the Thomson Reuters list of Texas Rising Stars from 2015-2019.
